Rachel graduated from Clark University with BS degrees in communications and psychology. She also received her MS From UCONN in Social Work, with a concentration in Horticultural Therapy.
She has earned accreditation from the Connecticut Nursery and Landscape Association and as a Certified Organic Land Care Professional. Rachel is working to receive her certificate in Horticultural Therapy from the New York Botanical Gardens. Rachel is passionate about the healing/relaxing power of Nature & Gardening.
Through her formal Horticultural Therapy training and her gardening experience, she has learned how to bring this concept into our clients' gardens as well as our garden center. After working in every area of the Family Business for most of her life, Rachel made the transition to 2nd Generation owner.
