The team did a great job trimming and pruning my Bradford Pear tree taking great care to take into account previous cuts so that the tree grows back more uniformly. Derrick was extremely friendly and professional, and the team worked quickly and did a fantastic job to remove all waste. Pricing was also very competitive, and the office did a wonderful job in communicating with me on scheduling. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommend Mencer’s. Derrick did a thorough job explaining and confirming the work that was to be done prior to starting the job. Once it was complete, he walked through everything again to confirm it was complete and met my expectations. The job was completed efficiently with care taken to minimize impact on my property. I contacted them before September 7th, 2021 and was told it would be a 8-12 week wait as they were busy. I get it. Everyone one is short staffed, and everyone is busy. They did send over a person to give an estimate in a very timely fashion, and since it was a small job, they might be able to do it sooner. I should've realized from the misspelling of my name on the email containing the estimate, they didn't really care about their customers nor their time. After about 4 weeks, I realized I needed some branches around power lines trimmed, and they were more than willing to add it

The whole experience with Mencer's was absolutely great. We had a free on-site assessment done, heard their recommendations, and decided to move forward. This morning the work crew showed up exactly when they said they would and took down the 90' foot oak tree, raised up our tree canopy, disposed of everything and cleaned up in about 2.5 hours. Derrick lead the crew and through the process he was in constant communication with me letting me know about their progress, next moves, and any recommendations he saw. Their pricing was fair and I would recommend Mencer's highly.

I've appreciated Derrick and his crew taking care of my tree work again today. Second all-day job for me. Lots of trees to cut and trim! They are really quick and efficient. Mencer's Tree Service had given us a quote for the removal of 5 trees on our property, and we were on their busy schedule about 2 months out. Late one night we heard a huge bang and felt the entire house shake. A 6th tree had fallen over and crashed onto the corner of our roof in the rear of the house.

Sadly I had to have a huge oak tree removed before it could fall and crush my entire house. I am heartbroken that this was needed. Luckily I found care and understanding with the timber men at Mencer's Tree Service. Derek (who led the job) was wonderful. He and four others showed up on time, worked carefully and consistently from 8:30 until finished around 3:30. They took the tree mitigating any damage to other trees (and I have lots of 🌳) Derek had the job completed in much less time then he predicted and had the yard cleaned up just as promised. I highly recommend this company! Plus the job

First I would like to state that Mencer's CREW did a good job. The crew was polite and quick.
Unfortunately, the rest of my experience was horrible. From the lack of communication with office personnel, rudeness of the office personnel, and the owner yelling and cussing me for something his office personnel had messed up on my neighbor's quote, not even my quote! Instead of of speaking with his office personnel first or my neighbor, in which the issue was with, he called me at 7:15 am blaming me! All of this was horrible experience. Although the owner apologized, after I called back

First off, Mencer's Tree Service did a good job removing the tree's from my property. No question about that. Just wanted to get that out there.
My issue came about as we had numerous stumps that needed to be removed. A large stump grinder was used, and our irrigation line was ruptured in numerous places. The owner of the company was notified, and they have chosen not to be responsible for the subsequent damage that they caused while grinding

What a great family run, veteran owned business! They came to our house today and took down a large 25' tree in our front yard. They safely guided the tree down between our neighbors landscape and our landscape. They had it down, chopped, and placed into a large chipper truck within 15 min's. They raked, used leaf blower and cleaned up all of the small debris that was remaining. The chipper machine was so large and powerful, they used a hydraulic wrench to pull most of the tree in several large sections (10-12') and placed into the chipper. We couldn't be more pleased with the work done in our yard by Mencer's Tree Service! They were professional, courteous, fast, and their cleanup work was great. They also gave us the best quote for the amount of work we needed, removal of several trees and about 50 stumps. We recommend them highly! We had a long wait, but they were worth it.

We really appreciate the professional service by Mencer’s Tree Service. The crew arrived on time this morning—actually a little early, and performed an admirable job cutting down four huge Leland Cypresses without damage to our house, shed, or fence. The crew also trimmed two dogwoods and a Japanese maple in the front yard and trimmed our… hackberries along the back fence line. The crew disposed of all the logs, branches, and other debris in their chipper. I have a sycamore tree in my back yard which was there long prior to the house next door being built. The tree limbs had grown toward and closer to the house next door over the last few years since that house was built. I hired White's Tree Service to cut those particular limbs off at the tree in order to prevent those limbs from causing problems or disputes with the neighbors. I called Mencer's to remove large limbs in both front and back yard of my home. They stated that they would be there on 7-4-18 to give an estimate. I confirmed that they meant that someone would be working on 4th of July? They said yes and they would be there. I stayed home all day on a holiday. No one came and no one called. I called back early the next morning to report this. Someone called me back from Mencer's about 5 hours later. They stated that they missed coming to my house - no apology - just a statement. Mencers is the only tree service I would use in Knoxville. Their pricing is fair (I got another estimate for the work that was performed and Mencers was hundreds of dollars cheaper). The service is professional and they leave your property in a better condition they when they got there. I would recommend them without a doubt as their hassle free service is second to non.
