Services
Army Worms
Report
If you have ever watched a row of plants get destroyed by army worms, you'll know (at least in part) how they got their name. These ravenous caterpillars can devour an entire plant and move en-masse to the next one, so they can take it down with the same vigor. There are many species of army worms, and each one has its own taste for a specific plant or vegetable.
Fire Ants
Report
Fire ants get their name from their painful bites and stings. These dark reddish-brown ants are extremely invasive, and they can be found throughout the southern part of the United States. Once they start attacking, fire ants will use their mandibles to grip their prey and inject their venom with a stinger.
Ghost Ants
Report
Ghost ants get their name from the fact that because of their pale color and tiny size, they can be hard to see. They're a tropical species (most likely of African or Asian origin). In the United States, ghost ants can be found in Central and Southern Florida as well as in Hawaii. They can't survive in northern states, unless they're in greenhouses or heated spaces.
Rodents
Report
Rodents are warm-blooded animals that can be found all over the world. They have large front teeth that they can use for gnawing and check teeth that can be used for chewing. They can chew on whatever is available to them, so they can cause a great deal of damage both in and around your home.
Texas Leaf Cutter Ants
Report
Also called "cut ants" or "parasol ants, " leaf cutter ants originate from the United States - primarily in Eastern and South-Central Texas. But they can also be found in parts of Western Louisiana. Leaf cutter ants aren't common in subdivisions. They're considered to be a pest in more agricultural and rural areas.
