Jason Alm founded Signature-Design in 2002 as a side business. Before moving to California, he was practicing in Chicago where he participated in the design and construction of several national award-winning projects. Jason brings more than 15 years of international design experience to the table. It is with this unique perspective that he applies critical insight to the design quality of every project.
As a Principal, he has overseen the design and execution of residential and commercial tenant improvement projects throughout Los Angeles. Jason Alm was employed by Perkins Eastman from 2003-2013, with major contributions as a project architect, project manager, and project designer.
He was responsible for leading and managing teams in design and production for a variety of project types including master planning and concept design as well as construction administration.Jason brings expertise in advanced building systems and technologies and building envelope design, and is particularly knowledgeable in the sustainable design process.
