Services
Interior & Exterior Lighting Design
Our comprehensive lighting design service creates customized solutions for both interior and exterior spaces. We develop detailed lighting plans that integrate ambient, task, and decorative lighting elements while considering energy efficiency and code compliance. Our approach ensures proper illumination levels for safety and functionality while enhancing architectural features through strategic fixture placement and light distribution.
Dark Sky Lighting Design
This specialized service focuses on outdoor lighting solutions that minimize light pollution while maintaining security and aesthetics. We design systems that prevent sky glow and light trespass through shielded fixtures, proper aiming angles, and low-glare lighting techniques. Our expertise ensures compliance with dark sky ordinances while providing effective illumination for residential and commercial properties.
Aging Eye Lighting Design
We create lighting solutions specifically addressing the changing needs of aging eyes. Our designs incorporate increased light levels, reduced glare, and enhanced color contrast to improve visibility and safety for older adults. This service includes task lighting recommendations and lighting controls that adapt to declining visual acuity while maintaining energy efficiency and aesthetic appeal.
Lighting Fixture Design
Our fixture design service provides comprehensive recommendations tailored to each project's specific requirements. We specify appropriate lighting fixtures with detailed information about mounting types, manufacturers, models, and finish options. We offer working samples to help visualize the final illuminated space and ensure proper integration with architectural elements and control systems.
Code Compliant Lighting Documents
We produce detailed documentation for building permits and construction that ensure compliance with California Title 24 and other relevant codes. Our deliverables include lighting plans, fixture schedules, and control diagrams that meet regulatory requirements while providing clear implementation guidance for contractors. These documents facilitate accurate bidding and smooth project execution.
