I do not recommend Clean Choice. They rope you in with a several month long promotion where your energy prices will remain close to what you are used to, and then you will experience bills that are between 2 and 5 times higher than what you previously experienced. Our price per KW rose over 900%. We stopped working with them as soon as we figured it out. Note that it also takes one to two billing cycles for your cancellation to go throughwere currently stuck paying these extortionate rates for our electricity for more time because of their cancellation policy.

Be careful: I just cancelled CleanChoice after reviewing energy bills for the past year. Clean Choice increased their rate from 13.9 cents/KWh to 27.5 cents/KWh between Dec 2020 and Dec 2021. You don't see the rate on the untility bill - just the lump sum Supplier charge (you can calculate the rate by dividing the Supplier Charge by KWh Used). I am concerned about the environment, and signed on at what was advertised as a reasonable premium over the Utility rate. So for that, CleanChoice feels it appropriate to increase the rate rate by 400% in a year? Goodness, what a racket.

WATCH YOUR WALLET! (Keep your eyes on your bill every month). CleanChoice offered a rate which was about 10% more than my JCP&L supplier. To be a thoughtful consumer, I was happy to pay it to reduce my carbon footprint. After about 18 months, my bills started going through the roof. Their KWH rate went to nearly TRIPLE my suppliers rate! I didnt know we had a scarcity of wind and sunlight.

So pleased I am using wind and solar energy for my heating and electrical needs. I also drive a hybrid and my next car will be electric. This company also gave the capacity to plant trees as gifts at Christmas - and I gave those gifts, gifts with meaning and hope for the future. We all need to do more.

I called to request a quote and also check on the customer service, example: Ease of reaching a rep and quality of customer service. The letter I received had a different price from the one given to me by the representative and he lost his patience really fast when I asked him to reexplain why they are different. I dont think Ill be switching until I get a concrete answer on the charges involved. What I understood is if I take the lower price of (6.***cents/K/hr) its only for three months and after its a variable rate. Or I could enroll for a year for 9.3cents/k/hr. Ill defined be
