I'm writing this review to give our experience with Chris Cox and his team. Chris initially came out to the house to service our old(on last legs) HVAC system after we had paid a lot of money to another company to fix and still had problems. We agreed we would contact him in the spring to replace with a new unit. We called at that time and he explained clearly what installing a new unit would look like and gave us a few choices and prices. We decided and he and his team showed up on time, did a great job working efficiently, told us what they did and were done. The furnace and AC works as it should

I have used Als for years and have been extremely pleased with the service Ive received. The technicians are always very professional. They take the time to show you what needs to be done and they explain the work in terms I understand. Livining in Waynesville I was unsure that they would come this far North, our AC started making some noises. Sure glad I didn't hesitate, Chris (one of the owners) came out that day!! Our old girl was on her last leg, and he didnt just tell us, he showed us. We scheduled for a couple of weeks out, for a complete install and a move of the unit. Of course a week later she bit the dust. I called, and TR (other owner) offered us AC window units to get us through. -So nice! Very disappointed. They do not wear a mask in your home without asking and then not over the nose. Ridiculous. Be respectful of others no matter what your thoughts or beliefs. Also not a great sign when technician has to call multiple times to diagnose the problem and when hanging up loudly calls the person a grumpy old man.

My furnace broke as they always do at the very beginning of a long holiday weekend. I called to see if it was possible to come out, and was pleased they had an on-call technician available. The upcharge for the call was pretty modest, which I also appreciated. But in talking to the tech ahead of him actually coming out, he asked a few questions and definitively told me what the issue was. Two follow up questions later, he definitively told me it was now something else. He also told me that it probably wasn't even worth getting fixed as the furnace wasn't even worth the amount of a variable speed

Al's has been taking care of our heating and a/c units for over 15 years. After a couple of refills of freon and 19 years in service it became evident it was time to invest in a new system. The quote was within expectations for a high quality unit. The system was installed in short order and the whole thing runs and looks great. Installers were professional and courteous. Great experience.
