Before your new granite countertops are measured and installed, there are some important details you need to know. Please read all of the information carefully to ensure that you receive the best possible service and satisfaction with your natural stone countertops. In order to obtain accurate measurements for your new countertops and/or backsplashes, in some cases the existing countertops must be removed prior to the measuring process.

There are so many factors to consider that there is no easy way to answer this question. We have pieces ranging anywhere from $27-$80 per square foot but cutouts, backsplash, edge treatments, installation, color, and stone type are just a few factors to consider. Heat: Thermal shocks or cracks may occur if the countertop is subject to extreme temperature changes. It is recommended that you protect your countertop from extreme heat by using trivets or hot pads. Scratching: Granite is extremely durable, but should not be used as a cutting surface as it will dull you're your knives.
