We work with airlines, convenience stores, big box retailers, specialty food companies & restaurants. From co-packing to custom product development, our focus on customers & quality shines through. Our Culinary Innovation & Design Team, led by Chef Joshua Rappaport, brings creativity, business savvy, and passion to the table.

Our facilities feature a mix of automation & hands-on processes allowing us to produce unique items on a "best cost" basis. Buddy's produces both Organic & Gluten Free items and is actively developing products in line with healthy & clean eating trends. At Buddy's Kitchen, our commitment to food safety & quality is paramount.

We are committed to setting the industry standard for food safety and quality and have invested heavily in processes, staff, training, testing, chemistry and third-party consulting services to ensure that we deliver on that promise. We intimately serve a base of food-forward customers through our unique agile innovation and flexible manufacturing processes.

Buddy's Kitchen was founded near Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1974 by Nils "Buddy" Eian. The first Buddy's product - a mouthwatering, hand-cooked omelet made for North Central Airlines - remains a signature Buddy's product to this day. Until 2007, Buddy's focused primarily on airline customers. Since 2007, the company has meaningfully diversified its customer base and capabilities and opened a second, larger production facility in 2016.
