Platinum Services

Platinum Services has been a trusted name in moving and storage since 2005, though our roots trace back to 1946 when Joseph Smoot founded Smoot Brothers Transfer after serving in the U.S. Army. His legacy continued with Guardian Moving and Storage, established in 1952, which became a leading provider of local, long-distance, and international moving services, as well as long-term storage solutions for the Department of Defense. Today, under the leadership of Mario Smoot and the third generation of the Smoot family, we proudly offer personalized moving and storage solutions tailored to the needs of individuals, businesses, and government agencies across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC.
