We had A-Max refinish our red oak original hardwood floors (not done since house built probably). Put off due to kids & large dogs. They sanded old varnish & stain off, sealed & applied a water-based topcoat. We have large wood baseboards that they were very careful around (didn't want to remove in fear they would break) and sanded around the spindles of stairs (so we wouldn't have to remove). We had a few dark spots that they were able to get out and were able to sand down the warped boards (from previous water leaks). The dust & fumes were at a minimum. They had

We moved into a new home with hardwood floors. The previous owners had a dog and were super tough on these floors. They were covered in scratches, staining and water damage throughout. A-Max came in and refinished the floors and did a water based finish. Our floors look brand new! Couldn't be happier. We would recommend A-Max to anyone who is looking to have their floors refinished.
