Business Details
Our professional carpet cleaning includes pre-treat, stain removal and steam cleaning services. We are experts at caring for and professionally cleaning fine oriental rugs and area rugs. See why The Galaxy's Finest is called "THE BEST" carpet cleaner in the Chicago and the surrounding areas. Jeffrey Kilmer did an excellent job cleaning two couches and several large room rugs.
Very personable and professional. The cost was more than fair. Something important to me is there was no mess left behind (wet footprints, dirty water, etc.) I highly recommend Galaxy's Finest. I had him add me to his call reminder list to have my rugs cleaned yearly. Jeff takes pride in his work, he communicates effectively which made the scheduling process very easy.
We are very satisfied with the job he did on our 12-person sofa sleeper. Jeff is knowledgeable about upholstery and made a huge difference in the condition of our sofa's upholstery and mattress. We highly recommend Jeff's upholstery/mattress work.

Services
About Us
Galaxy's Finest is an owner-operated professional carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning company that is committed to providing the best service in the Chicagoland area. Before beginning any cleaning service, we discuss the details of each item to be cleaned so you know exactly what to expect. Our professional cleaning solutions and sanitizers are customized to your specific fabric needs.
Carpet Cleaning
Our equipment is custom made, as we've learned from 32 years experience how much moisture is needed, combined with state of the art cleaning solutions, to NOT over-wet the carpet while maximizing efficiency. I start with a pre-treat which emulsifies and soliloquizes the foot and pet oils in the carpet that trap dirt, dust and food particles, loosens and lifts them to the surface which enhances the steam cleaning process.
Upholstery Cleaning
Upholstery cleaning is performed using our custom made hot water extraction tool that is not used by most other cleaners. This enables us to extract the dirt, oil and dander from the actual fabric without getting the cushioning wet. Drying time is usually within the hour. Our upholstery cleaning process can be used on sofas, couches, chairs, seat cushions and more.
Rug Cleaning
We can clean most rug fabrics and have specialized solutions that differ from the carpet cleaning solutions. Our oriental rug cleaning solutions are made to bring out the natural colors of the oriental rugs. The entire process insures the colors won't bleed, nor will the backing become damp, hence the rugs CAN be cleaned while on a hardwood floor.
Mattress Cleaning
Our mattress cleaning service is performed using a special hydro-kinetic upholstery tool that does not saturate the mattress, yet provides a deep clean, removing the skin cells, dust mites, and dirt from the fabric. Sanitizer is included in the solution to kill any bacteria on your mattress and helps stop most odor problems.
Home Frogging
Home fogging is a way to quickly disinfect every inch of the interior of your home. Our professional fogger machine sprays a fine fog throughout the house. We use Microban, which is 100% safe and incredibly effective in eliminating odors, mold, bacteria and various other bothersome smells. After setting off the Precor Plus Fogger machine, you should leave your house for 2 hours.
Reviews
A pleasure to work with. First, they called because I told Jeff to call me in a year for carpet cleaning. And to the day he called. Set an appointment and I received a reminder call the day before and they showed up early the day of the appointment. Rug was cleaned and protected. And then two days later someone got sick on the rug, so they squeezed me in to come back on work on a horrible stain.
