This custom cedar pergola in Corinth, Texas benefits from the added interest of a curved edge and multi-level design. We followed the lines of the existing patio to provide a seamless integration of the structure into the hardscape, giving the impression of a master-planned design. This Cedar Pergola in the Harvest development of Argyle, Texas was a pleasure to design and build.
This 18x13 Patio cover on the south side of Denton is a pavilion style free standing structure on four posts. It's very heavy duty, the posts are 8x8, the beams are 4x12 and the rafters are 2x8. Currently it's the first phase of a two-phase plan to incorporate a pergola over the patio in the side yard.
The pavilion was designed in a 3D cad program for presentation to the client. This is a full masonry outdoor kitchen grill surround. We poured a concrete footer to avoid encroaching on the covered patio space. All veneer materials are natural stone and tile. An electrical box and hardwired power to the propane grill were incorporated into the concrete block structure.

It's a simple, sturdy design on 8x8 posts sunk into the ground. Our clients are looking forward to spending many evenings with family and friends in their new outdoor space.

This job really got the attention of passers-by. Clients had a very large flower bed in their front yard that desperately needed renovation, two large fountains had been removed and all that remained was an oblong ring of shrubs of inconsistent size. We removed about 75% of the existing shrubs and livened up the space with Texas native perennials and a cedar pergola as the centerpiece.

Client had just cleared their landscaping of unwanted Asian Jasmine from the street to ten feet back, giving us a blank canvas of bare dirt to work with. Following the client's specific instructions, we created a sidewalk of concrete pavers, laid a dry stack natural stone border for the flower beds, planted Knock Out Roses and installed aromatic cedar mulch.
