The conventional method for control of subterranean termites is to apply a chemical barrier in the soil between termites and the structure to be protected. Additionally, bait stations containing pesticide bait can be installed in the soil surrounding a home. Termites feeding in the stations then transport the bait to other members of the colony to feed, resulting in the elimination of the entire colony population.
The Sentricon System detects and stops subterranean termites from attacking homes by eliminating entire termite colonies - not just individual termites.
