Why did we change our name? Our company has a rich history of serving the kitchen and bath renovation needs of countless individuals and businesses since 1941. Over the close to 80 years there have been several evolutions of our business as we've continually changed over time to focus on the needs of the next generation of homeowners.
Though the name is new and we've unveiled our new state-of-the-art showroom location in Scotch Plains, NJ for us to be in the heart of our customer base, customers can still expect the same high standards, expertise and awareness of all the modern trends that have become synonymous with Economy Kitchen & Baths, and now, EKB Kitchen & Bath Remodelers.

EKB Kitchen & Bath Remodelers has been a Kitchen remodeling company since 1941. The company originated in the center of Union County as Tru-Art Kitchens focusing primarily on custom cabinetry for residential customers. Then in 1980, Martin the original remaining owner moved the company to Linden & re-incorporated as Economy Kitchens to cater to a wider variety of homeowners with a solid oak refacing system.
