I was a bewildered novice. I knew nothing at all about hydroponic gardening except that I knew I wanted to start. I had gone to a couple of other shops and had dreadful experiences: indifference, rudeness, aggressive sales pitches... A friend recommended Roots and Rocks. Ariel was kindness, courtesy, and knowledge incarnate. He asked all the right questions and patiently and expertly answered my own uninformed ones without an ounce of condescension. Great little grow store! The guy I met (owner?) was knowledgeable, kind and interested in new products, instead of most of the "run of the mill" grow stores I have been to in the area which are only interested in selling the same old, same old. He also was interested in mining/rock hounding so we have loads in common. Spent way more time here than I anticipated, time flies when your having fun...

Great store! The staff here is very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. They have allot of things crammed into the store and won't try to sell you anything you don't need. They also have good prices and remembered me first time and started giving me awesome discounts for being a repeat costumer. One of the top grow stores in town for sure if not the best!! With Purple Mountain in town it's a close call both stores are amazing.
