In 1976, Davis Auto Sales opened in the southern part of Chesterfield County branching off from the already existing Davis Auto Repair family run business which was started in the early 1950's by TL Davis, Jr. Jimmy Davis, always a mechanical handyman, saw a way to buy and repair vehicles in his spare time to make extra money.
Always tinkering, his passion became a business. Instead of doing things against the rules, as many today still do, he made it legal -- got the licensing needed and Davis Auto Sales was born. Mr. Davis was running the show by day and Gail Davis (wife) was handling the books at night, while still working in a corporate career.
Being in a rural area, the business had small beginnings specializing in trucks, 4x4 vehicles, some large sedans, and station wagons. As the times changed, and the localized community that traveled on the rural Woodpecker Road location branched out, it was time to look for a more visible location.

This transit has some miles but its absolutely as clean as they get to be used, freshly service inspected, excellent tire condition, ready to put to work immediately even the owners manual still in the glove box and left and right side doors. This is a excellent service vehicle, inner-city work vehicle or whatever they need this one is ready to go.

This work truck has a box approximately just over 14 feet long height of 6 1/2 feet and 74 width. Roll up rear door that operates well, previously had a liftgate system the main frame of that is still intact, new front tires just installed as well as serviced rear tires with almost new tread. This is a Micky body and seems to be in good shape and very dry.

This unit includes the trailer at this price as well as free indoor storage until spring of next year with purchase. Just like last year there will be no in stock product forecasted from the manufactures we are just now getting boats that were promised to us in March of last year so purchase now to avoid being caught with your pants down next season without a boat.

Every year one dealer out of the entire country is chosen to represent NIADA as the example of Outstanding Quality. Jimmy believes in a strong family bond. He is actively involved in his church, and has sponsored Little League Baseball in his community.

Mr. Davis communicated fully and clearly with me about a meeting time, he gave me his cell phone number, and a time to meet him, and was cordial and very helpful when we met. He has an absolutely INCREDIBLE inventory of large, heavy-duty and sport trucks, and a vast knowledge of them. It's a amazing place for truck enthusiasts!
