Southwest Septic Service
If you are want to properly maintain your septic, or you are experiencing backups, failed septic tank, plugged effluent filter, failed disposal fields, or just have questions about your septic system, feel free to give us a call. We are your local septic solution in southwest Colorado. We are able to service all of the towns listed and even make special arrangements if you are located in a further location.

Contact us today to have us come out to your home or business for your septic needs! In 2019, the State of Colorado enacted a law that requires a septic inspection be performed and a transfer of ownership filed for all properties with on-site wastewater treatment facilities (septic systems). This law requires all system inspectors to be NAWT trained and certified.

This certification process ensures that all inspectors have the necessary experience to perform a septic inspection properly. Southwest Septic's inspectors are NAWT certified and have years of experience installing new systems and completing routine repair work on sewer lines, septic tanks and conventional and alternate disposal areas.

About Us
Report
I started working for my dad's business in Arizona in the early '90s with my two brothers and sister, brother-in-law and other employees. We worked on installing hundreds of new septic systems for manufactured homes in Yavapai county. I then moved to Mancos in 2008 and from there, my father and I started the business back up in 2017.

Our team can come work on the septic tank pumping for your residential or industrial property whether it is a time-sensitive issue, or you are due for routine work. While the sizes of septic tanks may vary from households and businesses, it is important to not neglect the proper maintenance of your wastewater.

Report
The water and waste from your septic system flow through a drainage pipe to the septic tank. Bacteria in the drainage pipe and tank work to separate the solids from scum, which is primarily made of oils, grease, and fats. The scum floats to the top while the solids form a layer of sludge on the bottom.
