Mike Lee is a second generation arborist and has over 40 years experience in tree services. He has degrees in Arboriculture and Urban Forestry from Stockbridge School of Agriculture at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Before starting Lee Tree Company in 1998, he worked in the industry for 26 years, serving 5 years as Vice President of Operations.
Mike started the business in his wife's hometown of York, allowing him to spend more time with their 6 children. His eldest son Mitchell is also a graduate of Stockbridge School of Agriculture and works as a certified arborist along side Mike. Mike and Lee Tree Company are committed to bettering the community and often volunteer their services.
The crew often rescue and relocates wildlife for Cape Neddick's Center for Wildlife and donates wood chips for facilities. Lee Tree Company volunteers their time and equipment for hanging the banners of non-profit groups. Mike loves to participate in the York Schools' Career Days, Big Wheels Event and the local youth groups.
