                    Foam Insulation Benefits
                                                                                        Report

For decades, fiberglass insulation was the material of choice to insulate homes. Blown fiberglass was often used for the attic and fiberglass batts were used for wall cavities, ceilings, and pretty much everything else. But fiberglass only has an R-Value of 3-3.5 per inch. This will not stop air movement and does not work when wet.

                    Ice Dam Prevention
                                                                                        Report

Ice dams can be a major headache for homeowners during winter months, forming on sloped, or pitched, roofs when snow melts. Often caused by inadequate insulation in the attic space or under the roof, spray foam insulation can function as a comprehensive solution. The water that backs up behind the dam can leak into a home and cause damage to walls, ceilings, insulation, and other areas.
