Very pleased with the quality of work. Our pool is 31 years old and Sun State removed the existing pebble tec and installed new mini pebble tec. It looks amazing. Our sales person was Matt and he was very thorough in explaining the process and personable. Our project manager was Anton and he communicated throughout the process to keep us informed and to verify everything was completed according to our contract. I would highly recommend Sun State Pools.

Ive been using Sun State Pools Service for a while now and honestly, theyve been awesome. Super reliable, always show up on time, and they really know their stuff. My pool has been looking crystal clear since they started taking care of it.

I used sun state pools to resurface my 24 year old in ground swimming pool. From the estimate I was given by Troy freese.To the different workers that came by to do the work and to my supervisor taylor who did a fantastic job, and all the office people that set up appointments, picking colors of tile , and making sure billing was correct I thank you all for your hard honest work to make this all come together. The pool is I believe finished above and beyond basic standards. I've had numerous compliments. I've already had people taken sun states phone number to have work done by sun state. One thing I do is make sure I have plenty of different drinks and food and chips available for everyone working. It's my way of saying thank you to all. I believe I got a great warranty if anything arises in the future. I don't have a bad word at all to say about this company. Definitely an A plus company to work with. Honesty and cleanliness were never compromised from them here each day. They make sure their contract is followed by the book. No cutting of corners or substituting cheapness. I took 4 months getting different company's to quote the work. Apples to apples sun state was the best priced quote with the most knowledge to all my questions. The process was excellent from start to finish. The quality of work was also excellent and the work was done and finished as scheduled. Communications were great and our superintendent Taylor went above and beyond to make sure that we were pleased with all aspects of the pool remodel. We are very happy with the finished product.

The Sun State team did a great job on our remodel project from start to finish. Ricky helped us think through the design process at our home and in the design center making sure all our questions were answered before starting. As soon as we got going Jason managed the project all the way through making sure all the small details were done right. Overall we are very happy with the results and experience of working with Sun State.

We had Sun States complete a pool & spa remodel - new tile, new interior (pebbletec). We were very happy with their pricing, the quality of their products, & their service. They kept us informed of their work ( what they had to do & the times they would arrive) The workers were great - many different crews but all went above & beyond in the service they provided. They worked around our schedule for getting the work completed in a timely manner so we didnt lose much swim time. Nick was our salesman, Oz was our foreman & Bella kept us informed - everyone was great. I would recommend them to anyone & BTW - our pool & spa look beautiful!

Great overall job they did. Special shout out to Jacob, our project manager. He helped to line up all the contractors and kept them on schedule. We had a few hiccups along the way, but if we reached out it was quickly fixed. Since we had it done, a few months later a tile sank in and cracked and they immediately fixed it under warranty. Ive recommended them to others.

Wonderful, family based business. Very impressed with the staff and young, professional men and women who run the business. They are personal, responsive and compassionate. Used them for a very large pool remodeling project. It isnt quite complete and will do another review when the deck work is done. After 4 or 5 quotes with companies that didnt even bother to answer back or give details, these professionals were responsive, fun and helpful. The crews were very happy and worked hard. Sun State Pools resurfaced and titled my very old pool. They also installed a tanning shelf and replaced my pool pump. Mike, Jacob and the entire team there were very responsive and professional. They did a great job - would recommend them to anyone looking for pool work.

We just finished remodeling our almost 30 year old pool. Our plaster showed some wear and we replaced it with pebble tech. The waterline tile was outdated so we had them changed to a lighter color. Also our old fiber optic lights quit years ago so we replaced it with a new bright Pentair LED light remotely controlled by our phone.
Scott came out and gave us an estimate with an extremely fair price. As soon as they received our downpayment they scheduled the tearout. A few days later Jacob replaced the light. We had to choose a different tile due to supply issues. Few days went by and the tile

Sun State Pools came to my rescue after my pebble tech
was showing cracks, and chipping quickly. I choose to replace pebble tech with new color from the boring sidewalk color. Because I have a spool, the company was able to complete in an amazing 3 days. from my first phone call to the office, I felt professionalism, something that's important to me. The team worked hard, cleaned up to my high standards, and today it's more beautiful than ever.

I had my pool motor go out, I sent a message to Sun State Pool. They got right back to me, suggesting that the propeller had probably melted. Mike said he would look at the schedule and come out to evaluate the problem. It took a few days to get the new motor in. Mike came out and installed the new motor plus he redid all of my 20 your old pipes. It looks great and my new motor works great!

Why didn't I make the change earlier?
I was doing business with the same pool company for 13 yrs. I was never happy. They lied to me, cheated me out of money and proper service the entire 13 years. I just sat there and took it because I thought it would be a big headache to make a change. I finally decided I would no longer accept the disregard and abuse. I found Sun State on Yelp. I asked many questions before signing up and they responded quickly each time. Their pricing and services were appealing to me. They had me penciled in within a few days of choosing their weekly cleaning service

These guys are awesome. They're reliable, professional and efficient. They email a picture of the pool being cleaned and a detailed breakdown of readings and what was done to the pool. Super easy to pay and communicate via text. Highly recommend.

I got a quote on Sunday and had all the work done by Tuesday! Mike was professional and honest and I could tell that he had our best interest in mind. He cleaned our filter and replaced drain covers that weren't up to code. I'll be using him again in the future!

I found Mike and team using Yelp's request a quote feature (needed an algae kill and change of filter sand) -- he replied quickly and we were able to schedule a time within 48 hours (that's very good, compared to most pool services I've worked with) and do an onsite inspection.

The guys arrived on time to the inspection, gave an estimate on the work, and talked through some of the finer points of what was going on with the system (btw Mike, as a customer who does my own pool maintenance, this was a major help. Thank you again).

My pool pump finally quit on me, so I requested a quote from multiple pool service companies. Sun state was on of the first to respond and able to get out the next day to look at the problem. It was quickly identified that we needed to replace the old pool pump. They quoted me much lower than other places for a brand new variable speed pool pump. The work was perfect and completed in a few hours. They even offered to add me to their weekly cleaning schedule for a great deal. I love what they have done so far and my pool has never looked so good! I plan on being a customer of theirs for a long time

Mike and Scott are our go-to guys for anything pool related. We have two pools we have had to get figured out. They have our full trust now and we wouldn't want to go anywhere else. They give you great information and will not try to up-charge you on anything. They did the repairs that were truly needed and for the very best. We try to maintain it ourselves with their repair help, but I'm thinking about giving us a break with one of our pools because I know their weekly service will get the pool in top shape.
