1. Remove caulking around the edge of the tub. 2. Remove the over flow plate, water spout and valve trim. 3. Set up the ventilation system to remove any odor. 4. Chemically clean surfaces and (acid etch) for porcelain and tile surfaces (The etching process is key to maximize the adhesion of the primer coating.
