Dr. Light is a double board certified physician in Otolaryngology and received his E.N.T. training at NYU Medical Center. His subspecialty focus includes the medical and surgical treatment of sinus problems, and ear disease, for which he received fellowship training at the Ear Research Foundation. He is currently on staff at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Boca Raton Outpatient Surgery and Laser Center, and Delray Medical Center.
Otosclerosis can often be treated by removing the 'stapes.' This outpatient surgical procedure is called a 'stapedectomy.' As a result of Dr. Light's extensive experience and expertise performing stapedectomy surgery, patients often travel from out of town for him to do their procedure.

Otosclerosis is often caused when a bone in the middle ear, called the stapes, becomes stuck in place and unable to vibrate. You need the bones in your ear to vibrate in order to carry sound through the ear. Otosclerosis must be diagnosed by a hearing specialist such as an E.N.T. doctor or audiologist.

I have been going through struggles with my hearing and also needed surgery. I cannot say enough about Bruna and Amal. Bruna has been easy to communicate with, helps me with everything (even things that are not for her position to handle) and does so with efficiency and compassion. She is so responsive and helpful! Amal might be the most compassionate person I have ever met. When I again was hit with bad news, she stayed with me through my entire appointment, hugged me, and walked me out assuring me that everything will be ok. I have never met anyone like her in a doctor's office. I hope Dr. Light

Update: Office manager Amal called me to validate my disappointment and express her deep regrets for the failure of customer service. I really appreciate the follow up and will definitely consider going back after this experience!

I was treated here for a medical complaint, the complaint resolved but returned quickly. This office is very busy and difficult to contact on the phone and or get an appointment due to patient load so I sought out another ENT. This new ENT came up with a solution although they referred me back to Light ENT for their allergy testing/treatment. So this review/complaint is primarily about their allergy department. I was treated and received allergy shots for 12 months. This office had a single employee running the whole allergy testing/shot operation. This employee left before thanksgiving of 21'

After reading good reviews I decided to visit this office for ear pain and dizziness. I was never told that the appointment would be a consultation and that nothing will be done to make me feel better. I was then told that I need to pay full price for the consultation in addition to paying again when I go back to see the actual doctor. Such a waste of time visiting the PA. In addition, the front office staff were so rude. I expressed that I was in pain and upset that I needed to pay for this consultation, continue being in pain, and pay again to come back, and was told "well you don't need to make

I am an out of town physician who had impacted earwax after swimming called them they got me right in was seen by the PA Gina who was excellent she told me exactly what the issue was what she was going to do and how it would feel very appreciative she had a great bedside manner and was very knowledgeable

Wow wow wow! Amal was so patient and helpful in squeezing me in last minute for an audiology retest and visit with Dr. Light. She ensured my complete satisfaction and comfort. After Dr. Light treated me, I am amazed at how he took the time to explain everything with visual aids in simple terms on a short video and Air Dropped it to me. I look forward to returning to this office in the future and will absolutely recommend.

After having been to multiple offices for an issue that would not resolve, I was referred to Dr. Light by some friends. I rarely write reviews but was so impressed with the level of care that I wanted to share. The entire team was extremely professional and welcoming. My experience with the audiologists was significantly better than those I’ve had at other offices, and the experience with Dr. Light left me feeling great. He spent as much time as I needed and addressed all of my questions and concerns and things have gotten much better since my visit. I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Light

I lost the hearing in my right ear, luckily for me Dr. Light was referred to me and he scheduled me the evening before he left for Thanksgiving. My inner ear was damaged, and I had lost all hearing in that ear.
Dr. Light suggested a treatment but made it clear that there was a chance that I may not get my hearing back or a small percentage if I was lucky.
Within three treatments not only did I get my hearing back, I could hear a whisper, and eventually nearly all of my hearing returned.
Dr. Light saved my way of living and he did it by taking the time to care for me even though he was supposed
