Questions

What causes algae growth in pools?

Algae growth occurs when sanitizer levels can't keep up with algae reproduction. High phosphate levels and improper cyanuric acid (stabilizer) levels contribute to persistent algae problems.

Do you recommend using algaecides?

We generally avoid algaecides as they often contain metals or bromine that interfere with chlorine efficiency. They're temporary fixes rather than addressing root causes like phosphate levels.

How do enzymes benefit pool maintenance?

Enzymes break down organic contaminants, reducing chlorine demand by up to 50% and improving water clarity. This natural solution helps maintain balanced chemistry with fewer chemical adjustments.

What service areas do you cover?

We primarily serve Chula Vista and surrounding San Diego County areas, providing both residential and commercial pool maintenance solutions tailored to local water conditions.

Can I schedule same-day service?

We prioritize urgent requests and aim to provide same-week service for most emergencies. Contact us directly to discuss immediate pool care needs and availability.

Ive had Aqua Diamond Pool Service for over a year now and I cannot complain. This father-son duo have always provided excellent service and are quite responsive to questions. Since I have a tenant in my home, this crew continues to provide weekly observations and provides photos of equipment that may need repair at times. I do appreciate the photos and constant dialogue. It helps to reduce the anxiety of not being able to see the state of my pool. In addition, the post service emails are nice to have which shows levels/chemicals of the pools state during routine maintenance. If youre looking

I've been having issues trusting anyone in the pool industry. The pool service that did our start up was very disappointing. Aqua Diamond was referred to us, and I was super reluctant to go with another company. I met Abraham who was very professional and knowledgeable with the pool chemistry and the equipment. He found things that should've been done to the pool that were not (our pool project was finally completed in April) completed by the previous pool service company. He took the time to go over things with me and show me the work that they offer/ provide. He even completed a thorough pool

Aqua Diamond has been great. They show up on time each week and deliver professional, reliable service. I receive an email after every visit describing what they tested, the results, and any adjustments they made to the pool. Our water is clean and clear! Makes having a pool thoroughly enjoyable. Able takes the time to walk my through any questions or concerns I have. Their prices are competitive and he even has the ability to get us additional equipment at a great price. I highly recommend Aqua Diamond!

Abel and his sons have serviced my pool the last few years and it has never looked better! Their professionalism and humbleness attribute to the excellent service they offer. They are always on top of the maintenance and they give me a heads up before it comes due for any repairs, replacements or yearly maintenance. This is a plus for me as it helps me work in any extra costs into my finances which I greatly appreciate during these uncertain times. Strongly recommend their services to anyone looking for their pool to be serviced.
