Drilling an ordinary lock open is an every day occurrence. Medeco locks have hardened steel inserts strategically placed within the lock to safeguard against physical attack.
Master Keying
Report
Master keying in pin tumbler locks can be accomplished in several ways, with the earliest systems dating back over 100 years. The conceptually simplest master key method entails two cylinders on each lock, one keyed individually and the other keyed to the master bitting; a mechanical linkage operates the lock when either cylinder is turned.
Card Access
Report
Do you have areas in your facility that you want to restrict employee access to? How about restricting what time they can and cannot enter a particular part of the building? Have you had to terminate employment and then worried about getting a key back? If the answer was yes to any of those, it might be time to explore access control (also known as card access) for your facility.
ADA Hardware
Report
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) became law in 1990. The ADA is a civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in all areas of public life, including jobs, schools, transportation, and all public and private places that are open to the general public.
Safes
Report
Commercial safes tend to have the need for extra security and fire protection to safeguard business secrets, trades, cash, and other valuables. In most cases when shopping for commercial safe, you will want one with a Fire and Burglary rate minimally. There are other ratings for high levels of protection as well.
