Essam and his team were fantastic! The team arrived on time every morning, cleaned up after each day of work (swept, etc.), and were very respectful. Great quality work and attention to detail. The price we paid was fair and the job was done ahead of schedule. They even mopped after the job was done and before leaving. This is a long overdue review for Essam and his team. Bottom line is that Essam and his team are fantastic. He is honest, upfront, hardworking, and strives to meet the customer's needs. Essam and team did a variety of jobs at our house in October. He was able to fit around our schedule and the work was timely and excellent with no hassle. Very professional, reasonably priced, with no surprises. Over the course of 4 days his team did extensive dry wall work in our basement and dining room, installed vinyl flooring, repaired a rotting window frame, and also installed recessed lighting in our living room and dining room. I had an issue with my linoleum flooring curling up at the base of the tubs in my two bathrooms. I received several quotes through Yelp and Essam's quote was comparable to others (250 dollars). I chose him based on other Yelp reviews and I was very pleased with the work.

Essam is our go-to handyman. We first used him a few years ago to replace some doors. We then continuously called him back to fix up things around the house and he also renovated our bathroom. When we were getting our house ready to put on the market, we were concerned about a broken sink--and he suggested a solution that was so reasonably priced. Essam and his team recently completed finishing our basement and we couldn't be happier! Their skill and craftsmanship is excellent - very close attention to detail and everything looks perfect. They were very friendly and polite and but for hammering and sawing and banging and sanding were very quiet and unassuming. They cleaned up their workspace each day and left their equipment and materials very nicely organized and out of the way (which is important because my 3 year old son wanted to check the progress almost every night).

Essam did a great at our house (closing off a staircase, replacing the flooring in two rooms, and repainting our kitchen cabinets). He was priced competitively, was very transparant with additional costs (for changes that we requested) along the way, and finished both on time and within budget. We are so lucky to have found On Duty Handyman. We had a number of house projects and fixes we needed to do - one of them being a hole in the ceiling that we had cut out because a leak had happened. Essam and his team did a fabulous job addressing each issue meticulously, and the end result is perfect. I can't recommend Essam and On Duty Handyman highly enough!. I owned a townhouse that needed to be renovated for sale and had only a few days to work on finding a contractor & getting things in motion before flying back to my home in Florida. After interviewing a Kitchen & Bath modeling company, I interviewed Essam, who was MUCH more knowledgeable than the other guy, and who could renovate the kitchen, all the baths, and various odd things, and paint the whole house for the same price the K&B guy was quoting for just the kitchen!

I contacted them for a quote on a small/medium drywall repair job. The quote was the best I could find so I booked the job. The job itself was done well and no cleanup on my part!
The only cons would be the time it took to do the job (more than a couple hours like I had anticipated) and scheduling. I was hoping it to have it done in a week, but he was booked out until the following week. All in all, I would recommend and use On Duty Handyman again!

When it comes to your home, you want the best quality for the best price. On duty handyman is the best. We called multiple contractors and decided on Essam.
When he came he was knowledgeable and gave us an upfront price. He showed up on time and knocked out our project in no time.
