Blown-in Wall System

The blown-in wall system is installed in an open cavity before it is closed with drywall. This technique completely fills gaps in the wall and provides a more complete thermal barrier than installing standard batt insulation in exterior walls. The blown-in wall method is very fast and hassle-free to install.

Although spray foam insulation can be used specifically for air sealing there are many air sealing products to seal key penetration points in a home around recessed (can) lights, plumbing stacks, electrical wires, attic hatches or doors, around chimneys or flues, and around duct chases.
