Modern Cabinet Company was founded in 1945 by David Schor and two other partners. Acquiring an old stable on 125th Street in New York City as a site for the new company to work from they began manufacturing cabinets. By 1960, the two partners were gone and Modern Cabinet Company was supplying many builders in the NY metro area with their kitchens.

Because we are a custom manufacturer we have the ability to create your cabinets in nearly any wood or milling (Quarter Sawn, Rift Sawn, Plain Sliced) you can ask for. Our new cabinets blend in seamlessly with our 100-year-old period home's original character. Thank you for bringing our vision to life!

In order to achieve the custom look our clients desire for their space we offer several design styles. Beaded Inset (frame openings are lined with small beading adding an extra detail to your custom look). Euro Full Overlay: Majority of the face frame is covered which is very popular in European frameless cabinetry.
