Landscape Design
Our landscape design service creates customized outdoor environments that blend aesthetics with functionality. Using 3D modeling software, we develop detailed plans incorporating plant selection, hardscaping elements, and water-efficient features. The process includes site analysis, concept development, and material specification to ensure cohesive, sustainable spaces that meet California's environmental standards.
Hardscape Construction
We build durable hardscape features including patios, walkways, and retaining walls using premium materials like natural stone and concrete pavers. Our team ensures proper grading and drainage integration while maintaining design continuity with surrounding landscapes. Projects include detailed craftsmanship in seating areas, fire features, and functional outdoor living zones.
BBQ Island Installation
Custom BBQ island installations combine premium stainless steel appliances with durable stone countertops and storage solutions. We design these entertainment centers to withstand weather exposure while maintaining aesthetic appeal. Each project includes gas line installation, electrical integration, and compliance with local building codes.
Artificial Grass Installation
Our artificial grass solutions provide low-maintenance, drought-resistant lawn alternatives. The installation process includes proper base preparation, drainage integration, and use of high-quality synthetic fibers that mimic natural grass. Ideal for pet-friendly spaces and areas with water restrictions.
Fire Pit Construction
Custom fire pit installations create focal points for outdoor gatherings. We construct these using fire-rated materials with proper ventilation and safety clearances. Projects include gas line installation, stone or concrete masonry work, and seating integration while ensuring compliance with local fire safety regulations.

Juan and his crew are top notch! At a time when most other contractors are super busy, Juan made the time to come out, design our backyard kitchen, and give us a reasonable quote. It really was a one stop shop. Juan helped us select out appliances, stone, granite and did the build out in a matter of weeks, not months. Juan was available for a call any time we needed him which was great. We are very happy with Outertainments and hope to use our outdoor kitchen over the holidays.

We had an existing patio, tiles laid on a concrete slab, removed and replaced with pavers. Before and during the work, Juan provided thoughtful and experienced guidance. The excellent work was performed promptly and diligently, with nice attention to detail. All at a fair price. Highly recommended.

Very happy with the work and how my outdoor kitchen turned out. Like many other outdoor companies, it is a very busy time. I called Juan after being blown off from a couple other companies and he responded right away. Originally we got everything handled through email, text and a couple phone calls and Juan came out to make sure all the measurements and layout looked good before starting. Even after all was measured, Juan was patient with us as we changed things to accommodate (and then we changed our mind on it) our pizza oven. We decided to get a cart for the pizza oven instead of having it stationary

I had a fantastic experience with Juan and Outertainments. When I was requesting quotes, they were the first to get back to me and follow through with the appointment. I had an idea of what I wanted in the backyard and Juan helped me finalize the plan with his experience and expertise. The job was done very quickly! One week after signing the contract, his construction crew came to complete the demolition and prepare the backyard for the concrete. Everyone who came to work was friendly and professional. The quality of the work was excellent and I'm really happy with how our backyard

I'm giving this guy one star. I had an appointment to meet him at my rental house for him to give me a bid and he flaked. After sitting there for 15 minutes I called him and he apologized and asked if we could meet later I made a new appointment for him to come 3 hours later then he flakes again. How can I trust someone like this to do a big job in my backyard if they can't even make it to two appointments in one day.

Outertainment did an amazing job on our backyard! They installed travertine pavers around our new pool, new cement, pergola, bbq island, gas fire pit, low voltage lighting, pool equip fencing and basketball court.
Juan was extremely helpful in working with the city on permit approval. We had to make a few changes and he helped give us alternative ideas. Juans team was excellent! They were hard working, friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend using Outertainment. Here are some before/after pictures.

Outertainments completed our backyard 2 years ago in Menlo Park. I just called them to try and find some hard to find stone that broke off, Not only did he find it, and buy it for me... After two years I didnt expect him to install it and buy me two extra cases for me, just in case the stone is discontinued. That is customer service above and beyond.
