Al's Excavating, Inc. is pre-qualified with the State of Michigan Department of Transportation for grading and drainage work, aggregate construction, building demolition, sodding and seeding, water mains and sewers, as well as clearing and grubbing. We hold a Residential Builders' Maintenance and Alteration License for the State of Michigan.

Al's Excavating, Inc. was started in 1976 by Al and Marcia Elgersma. The Company began with one bulldozer, one dump truck, one trailer and Al's experience in the excavating field. The original service was primarily residential. We have expanded to also include industrial, commercial and municipal work.
