BLUESTONE: Bluestone is a colloquial or convenience label to stone with blue-gray shades of colors rather than a geological term or formation. In the USA, sandstone from Pennsylvania and New York, and Limestone from the Shenandoah Valley are Bluestones. Bluestone is a sandstone and often used as flagstone and has medium porosity and should be sealed.
