Turner's Fine Furniture has grown from a modest start in a hardware store in Pelham, Georgia, to a multi-city enterprise thanks to the dedication of four generations of the Turner family. Established in 1915 as a hardware store, the Turner family worked hard to expand their business, obtaining more and more locations over the years.
Despite the economic hard times of the Great Depression and the troubles of World War II, the company continued to grow. Although they kept the hardware line for many years, by 1942 they handled mostly furniture and continued to branch out. By the early nineties, the fourth generation of Turners became active in the company with Fortson Turner working as the manager of the Tifton store and Austin Turner as manager of the Albany location.
What once was a modest hardware store in Pelham, Georgia now is a successful, expanding furniture retailer with 10 stores and hundreds of employees. Because of the long history of serving south Georgia and north Florida, rest assured that we have our customers' best interests in mind.
