Water Leak Detection and Repair
A leak in your home plumbing system doesn't always start as a gush of water. Sometimes, a leak can begin from a fixture, valve, or joint that leaks slowly and quietly beneath a cabinet or in a wall. Eventually, signs of a leak reveal themselves without the standard puddle: a stained ceiling or damp wall, the sound of dripping water, a wet odor, or moist carpeting.
Toilet Repairs
What starts as a small toilet clog can quickly spiral out of control and back up the entire plumbing system. A clog can be something as simple as too much tissue or a child's bath toy, or something as serious as a crushed pipe or tree root blockage. Whatever the cause, we will arrive, identify the cause, and expertly repair the problem.
Faucet Repair and Replacement

Repair on leaking faucets should be timely to avoid damage or an even bigger repair later.
Water Heater Repair or Replacement
Water heater repair is a viable option on a newer water heater, a water heater that is still under warranty, or a water heater that has a minor problem but is otherwise in reasonable shape. Regardless of the problem, we will share our expertise with you and never tell you to replace a water heater than is reasonably salvageable with a proper repair.
Water Filtration
Water filtration systems filter contaminants out of the tap water. A water filtration system will eliminate bacteria, cyanide, arsenic and more. They do so in one of several ways, depending on the type of system. Most homes will benefit from some type of carbon or reverse osmosis filtration system.
Water Softeners
Water softeners have some unique benefits and advantages. They operate by eliminating the hard water minerals like magnesium and calcium from the water. Water softening occurs through a chemical, magnetic, ion or RO process that improves water quality immensely. Most often, the process involves an ion exchange that substitutes sodium ions for magnesium and calcium ions.
Garbage Disposals
A garbage disposal is a simple but magnificent mechanical unit, because it grinds up bigger food particles until they no longer have the ability to threaten your plumbing pipes. The force of the grinding power will depend on the size of the motor. While a larger horsepower unit will grind more forcefully, smaller units are only meant for light duty.
Gas Line
All gas line repairs are considered an emergency and call Much Better Plumbing immediately, day or night if a gas line is leaking. Gas leaks are toxic and life-threatening, and should never be put off for any reason. Sometimes a poorly installed line, pressure on aging gas supply lines, or a line can be accidentally pinched or crimped.
Sewer Cleaning and Repair
Clogged sewer drains will trigger serious issues in your home. Food particles, hair, and other substances may cause clogging of your pipes, preventing the dirt and water from passing through. Many forces can cause a clogged sewer drain. The clog may start as a sluggish drain, or as a whiff of intermittent sewer odor wafting up from the pipe.
