As long vanities and large mirrors became the norm the swag lights were invented to spread the light further. Eventually the bar light was re-invented to accommodate lengths up to 48 and beyond.

Ceiling fans have become a staple in most homes across the country. They not only add a distinct beauty to any room but also functionality. In the summer months they keep us cool and normally run in a counterclockwise. Winter operation dictates a reversal of direction providing less downward flow of air and normally is a clockwise rotation.

Lamps come in all shapes, colors and sizes today. They are kind of like our family and friends when we sit down in a room. We either feel warm and cozy if they are designed correctly or maybe a little cold if they don't really compliment the decor and function well. Table lamps and floor lamps are necessary in many rooms in our homes.

One of the nicest shopping experiences I had ever! The gentleman who helped me, I believe the owner, although not sure, was a gem!! I brought an old lamp I had purchased, and he recognized that some crystal dangles were missing off of the top of the base, so he said 'let me see what I have in the back,' and he came out and he put the lovely crystal dangles on for me and he helped me pick out a beautiful shade... If anyone is looking for a top notch lamp shopping experience you will not find a better place than Bermann Electric. I've been patronizing them for years and look forward to many more
