I started Hiner Outdoor Living (originally Hiner Landscapes) for one reason; transform Colorado Springs into a town of "outsiders". Coming home from a stressful day, my wife Melissa and I would sit outside on our patio and take in the fresh air. This is when the epiphany of "why doesn't everyone have this" came about.

We may not have invented 3D design, but we have pioneered a design process that takes full advantage of its capabilities to give you a positive and informative experience. Our ground-breaking efforts earned us The ELITE Award for Innovation from Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado last year.

Pond and water feature maintenance will keep your piece of paradise looking exactly how it's supposed to. Do you look at it with excitement, wanting to feed the fish or sit and listen to the waterfall? Or has it become an eyesore that you wish would just go away? Just saw Matt's introductory presentation - wow!

While this may be due to foliage falling in the pond, it can also be caused by something more permanent. For some homeowners here in Colorado Springs, just putting a patch on their water feature doesn't quite get them outside. We had a problem with the waterfall leaking and causing us to lose water.
