The late owner Dale Morton started the Morton Moving & Storage in 1977, but long before that he learned the moving trade while traveling with his dad on moves. He learned firsthand what it meant to provide professional quality relocation services. Dale's father passed on to his son a belief in good business, strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence.

We are located in West Tennessee and are full-service movers. Residential and Commercial moving services are available, along with storage and packing services. Should you need it, our storage units can hold anything that you need to store for any amount of time. Some of our customers need this service when there is a lapse between moves.

We generally ask that you give us as much notice as you can. If you require a written in-home estimate, you should call about 1 week to 2 weeks before your move. Generally speaking, dispose of all flammable items, liquids, perishable foods, and other items that should not be shipped. Anything that can deteriorate should not be shipped.
