ShowHouse Santa Fe 2016 brought over 25 Santa Fe Interior Designers together for another year of creativity in design expression benefitting the local Santa Fe schools. The partnernship with Dollars4schools.org and Santa Fe Properties along with the Santa Fe business community of sponsors occurs once a year for 2 weekends in October.

Starting with a clean palette was the first item on the renovation list for this 1950's unloved casita. Painting the entire casita in a bright white cleaned up the space and selecting a light off white plank tile floor keeps an open and airy feeling. When I approached the fireplace design I asked Karene Earle Browne for her creative play of the regional elements.
