I honestly cannot say enough about Gordon James! Its difficult to know where to start. We started the process with them YEARS before we were ready to move forward with building our dream home. We never once felt pressure from them, unlike other builders. They feel like family to us. As a woman, I have felt a paternalistic attitude with a few of the builders that we interviewed, which was never the case with Gordon James. After interviewing several builders, we selected Gordon James for our new build in Minnesota. For us, they were just right - not to big and not too small. We worked primarily with Grant and Jeremy on the project; who both showed a strong work ethic, a high level of integrity, and great attention to detail throughout the process. Even though we lived out of state during the construction phase of the project, the communication with the team was always responsive and timely. Some friends of ours built their home with Gordon James Construction, and we admired it so much that Gordon James was the only builder we talked to about building our home. The people at Gordon James are really thorough in their approach to projects. They take the time to listen to clients, to carefully plan out projects, and to insure that everything turns out as expected, down to the small details.

Gordon James Builders worked with us from the very beginning, envisioning our new custom home build, and were with us until the end when they handed over the keys. Found them to be extremely relatable and responsive, walking us through each step in the process and following up as we moved closer to completion.
