Mark worked his way through college by remodeling and renovating homes. This difficult work provided him with a deep sense of accomplishment and satisfaction, and it wasn't long before he was certain that home building would be his career. With a degree in business administration from Mount Saint Mary's College, Mark brings a unique business perspective to Lancaster Craftsmen Builders.

Lancaster Craftsmen Builders was founded by Mark Lancaster in 1979. Since then, we've built hundreds of custom homes in Frederick, Carroll, and Washington Counties. Over the years, we've become well known for our painstaking historic renovations, and we focus on green construction - designing homes that are built and operated in an environmentally-friendly way.
