R. R. Cortazzo Oil

Since 1940, R. R. Cortazzo Oil has served the Slate Belt/Pocono region as a family-owned business dedicated to meeting heating and fuel needs with personalized service. Founded by Frank Cortazzo as a coal company, we transitioned to fuel oil delivery in 1946 and expanded our offerings to include high-quality heating oil, kerosene, off-road diesel, and comprehensive maintenance solutions. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our premium petroleum products, which burn cleaner and more efficiently, reducing maintenance costs for customers. We prioritize convenience through automatic delivery programs that eliminate fuel gauge checks and unexpected shortages, alongside an 11-month budget plan designed to help households manage heating expenses predictably. With decades of experience installing and servicing heating systems, our team has completed thousands of boiler, furnace, and tank installations while maintaining a reputation for reliability.

Our partnership with Penn Jersey extends our service capabilities to include gas station operations, ensuring comprehensive energy solutions for residential and commercial clients. Operating through challenging periods like the 1970s fuel allocations, we demonstrated resilience by diversifying into heating system installations while maintaining core delivery services. Today, we continue delivering millions of gallons annually, combining generational expertise with modern service standards. Our local knowledge of the Slate Belt/Pocono area enables tailored solutions that address regional climate challenges, particularly during winter months when heating demands peak. Through employment opportunities in driving and maintenance roles, we contribute to the local economy while upholding the values of integrity and customer care established by our founders.
