Myers Constructs
Myers Constructs is an award-winning design to build general contracting firm serving the greater Philadelphia metro region. Our specialty is providing custom residential remodeling and restoration - from concept stage, through design, to completed construction. We have a passion for breathing new life into older homes.

And we do so using tasteful and sustainable products, eco-friendly construction processes, and reputable business practices that we can be proud of. Our firm recently marked its 21st anniversary. It's a substantial milestone, and it got us thinking about the number of older houses we've improved over that span of time as well as the people we've helped to live better lives as a result.

So we tallied up the numbers: to date, we have had 469 happy customers. Incorporated in 1998, Myers Constructs is now one of the oldest, most trusted design build remodelers in the region - and the only one that is women-owned. And whether the projects we do for clients are large or small, very expensive or rather modest, our goal is always to understand how our clients want to live in their homes.
Services
Contemporary Kitchens
Report
Contemporary designs that accentuate open floor plans with clean lines, sleek appliances, and pleasing visual angles. As a local architecture firm, Atelier Darling-Wolf looks for any chance to work with this fine contractor and great people. I have had the chance to work on several projects of varying scales and can without hesitation say that they are my favorite contractor in Philadelphia.
Space Enhancing Master Suite
Report
The master bedroom suite in this 1950s Sputnik-era Flourtown rancher was in need of a modern renewal to suit the homeowners' tastes, and to match the ongoing whole-home renovations we've been doing for them during the past several years. The goal was to create the feel of extra space in the bathroom, particularly in the shower, where we bumped out a wall and installed a sleek custom black granite shower bench.
Lafayette Hill Bathroom — Pastel Colors & Brushed Nickel
Report
In this 1960s Lafayette Hill rancher, the small, existing master bathroom came equipped with a shower, toilet, vanity - but not much maneuvering room or style. Our customers also suffered from a serious shortage of closet space. We decided to use the small room adjacent to the master bedroom (which was likely intended as a nursery or study) as space for a new, larger en-suite master bathroom.
Mt. Airy Bathroom — Double Sinks & Dark Wood
Report
The house was a Mount Airy single built during the first decade of the last century. We work in many older homes like this one. In a home like this, the plumbing installation is typically lead pipe in a massive concrete slab. Although the original fixtures were of excellent quality, after 90 years, they were worn out and the lead drains were rotted.
Chestnut Hill Bathroom — Jet Tub & Shower
Report
This project presented another older bathroom, tidy but in need of an update. What the customers wanted were updated fixtures: an air-jet bathtub (yet with a traditional clawfoot look); a shower with frameless glass door; a bidet-toilet; and a heated towel rack. In addition, we specified new tile, new lights, new medicine cabinet and counters, and a better shelving solution.
