At the beginning of 2020, we really felt that our house needed an interior upgrade. We had ideas but were sure how to bring it all together. We looked at several designers and found PH’s portfolio online. Their aesthetics immediately resonated with us and we reached out. Mark was extremely attentive, and quickly grasped the style we were going for… - bold and colorful yet classic in foundation. He gave us a lot of time to think thru choices yet moved us along. To me the best part was PH’s ability to bring their vision to life piece by piece through all the pandemic delays and

We interviewed four interior designers to renovate and update our small townhouse. Since our budget was tight, we made a list of priorities throughout each floor which included a guest bathroom. The first designer frankly informed us we had unrealistic expectations, for the scope of the project and the amount budgeted, and refused an on-site… assessment as a waste of time. Humiliated or not, we continued the process which included a more elite high-end design firm than the first, PH. Mark assured PH works on small projects. Walking from room to room he was professional, organized, shared

Mark Schubert successfully designed the perfect kitchen, updated my homes paint color and created a home gym for us. He really listened to what we wanted and made helpful suggestions to keep the price from escalating out of our budget. While I am not particularly savvy on the ways and lingo of decorating he was patient and worked to understand what we wanted and what would make us happy. We are so pleased with our home. Mark was always responsive to emails and phone calls and completed the work within the time frame promised. We had an excellent experience with him.

We used Phillip Harrison to help us get settled in our new home in Brookfield, IL. Mark listened, got our style and budget, and made wonderful recommendations for a sophisticated, kid-friendly home. When we had to unexpectedly sell a year later, our house sold in two days for asking price which was well over what we had paid just 18 months earlier. I have no doubt this was because of our work with Mark. We are even planning to use Phillip Harrison with at least one room in our new house virtually because we have so much trust in their work.

Mark from Phillip Harrison was possibly the single best thing that happened to us in 2020. We were lucky to have found him right before covid and the lock downs . He was fantastic and his vision for the partial remodel we planned for our townhouse exceeded every expectation we had . He was prompt, attentive to our every ask and mindful of budgetary constraints. The finished home was a master piece and has been such a joy to live in . We plan to use Phillip Harrison for any and all design work in the future.

Mark is the best! I've used him for both residential and commercial spaces and he does a great job listening to goals and budgets and executing a design within those specifics. I highly recommend him!
