We got design plans and quotes from multiple contractors. We chose Nicholas because of their design creativity, professionalism and willingness to spend time discussing our project prior to a major commitment. They listened to our vision and let us know up front the challenges and what to expect. Remodeling, especially involving structural changes, requires great skill, the ability to adjust and most importantly, to communicate clearly and consistently to the homeowner. Nicholas checked all the boxes. They were sensitive to the interruption in our daily lives and also to their commitment to stay

Nicholas Design Build was recommended to me after I was left in a real bind when another contractor quit on me in the middle of my full remodel project. Kyle came in and agreed to complete the project and was very up front with potential risks since they were tearing out work previously completed by the other contractor. The home was originally built in 1978 so we also did not know what was behind some of the walls. All of the staff was professional and fun to deal with. Although some of the work was already completed by the prior contractor, they had to do a LOT of re-work. I also worked with

I found Nicholas Design Build from the Nextdoor app. They came highly rated. I went online and setup an appointment for a call. 5 minutes before the call I was asked reschedule the call. There was some phone tag. I responded to the text asking how long they needed because their precious call was going over the allotted time. They called me one I called back four time but in the end there was no follow up. This might be a one off anecdotal situation.
