Adam's can transform your current stair system by changing out the old carpet over your stairs to new hardwood stair treads and risers. We are also proud to offer complete stair system makeovers. The sanding process varies which each floor. We determine the appropriate grit of sandpaper to use based on the condition of the wood floor. The average floor starts with sanding with a belt sander with a 50 grit belt followed by an 80 grit, and a 100 grit belt. In between sanding with the belt sander we use a Clark edger to sand with 60 grit followed by 80 grit and finally 100 grit sand paper along the walls.
