Local Union 112 has been a cornerstone of the Southern Tier community since 1893, dedicated to advancing the plumbing and pipefitting trades through rigorous training and community engagement. Our five-year apprenticeship program combines classroom instruction with hands-on field experience, ensuring graduates meet the highest industry standards set by the State of New York and the U.S. Department of Labor. With modern facilities and experienced instructors averaging two decades of industry expertise, we prioritize individualized training and strict performance codes. Our graduates have contributed to iconic local projects, from educational institutions to healthcare facilities, reflecting our commitment to quality and community service. We maintain partnerships with signatory contractors to provide job placement opportunities, ensuring our members remain at the forefront of the industry.

Our legacy of excellence spans over 125 years, with a focus on adapting to technological advancements while preserving traditional craftsmanship. Through annual events like the Members Annual Clambake and community initiatives, we foster camaraderie and support among members. Our leadership, including Business Manager Dan Crocker since 2017, continues to uphold the values of skill development and service established by our founders.
