Unlike other solar systems that have separate warranties from each component manufacturer, you get one all-encompassing warranty with BVI Solar. Our 25 year warranty backed by CertainTeed, covers all system components. In addition, the professional installation and workmanship of your system that BVI offers, are also covered for up to 25 years.
Solar Panels

BVI Solar works with all types of solar panels and has installed a variety of brands including: LG, Q-Cells, CertainTeed, Panasonic, Silfab, Jinko, and REC. All the panels we offer include a 25-year performance warranty and are coupled with Enphase Micro-inverters. This allows for panel-level monitoring and ensures a bumper-to-bumper 25-year warranty on all system components.
Solar Shingles

BVI Solar uses the Certainteed Solar Shingles - Apollo II - to install solar on asphalt shingle roofs. These units are installed the same way asphalt shingles are installed, directly onto the roof sheathing using standard deck screws. Lightweight: weighs about as many pounds per square foot as a typical asphalt shingle roof.

BVI Solar installs CertainTeed's Apollo Tile II Solar Roofing System. The Apollo Tile II is a high-efficiency solar tile designed for integration with most tile roofs. Lightweight: weighs significantly less than a tile roof eliminating the need for structural review or reinforcement. Aesthetic: Brown (frame); black (cells) on black (backsheet) provides a greater aesthetic and visually blends with most concrete tile colors.
