We have a huge tree in our backyard that needed a trim. Lots of dead branches and branches hanging over structures. Blue Ox came out and took care of it for us. Fast and efficient work and cleaned up nicely. Our backyard is narrow and they got their equipment back there nicely. We got prices quoted from several places offering the same service and theirs was by far the most affordable.

I reached out to Blue Ox to trim a tree that had some dead branches on it over hanging a neighbors house. With winter coming up I wanted to ensure they would break and damage the house next door.
I called on a Tuesday to get an estimate of the work know it could be a week or so before they could perform the trimming. It felt like a miracle as I received a call and said they could be out that Friday. The guys showed up and quickly took care of the issue.
Really appreciate the fast turn around and professionalism of this group. Would recommend them to anyone.

They did a great job at a great price. The whole process was quick and easy. They even took away a pile of sticks and branches we hadn’t cleaned up from a previous wind storm. Really good communication and customer service. Would highly recommend, and will definitely call them again next time we need tree service.

I can't speak to the quality of work that they do - it never got that far with me. We had established a date and time for Blue Ox to come to my house for an estimate - somewhere between 3:00 and 5:00. I made adjustments to my schedule so I would be sure to be there at the correct time. After 5:00 and no-show I gave up waiting, as I had other things to do. Later, a message was left on my answering machine (sometime after 6:00) giving some excuse and stating that they guy was on his way. To my way of thinking, if they can't show up on time for an estimate (a 2-hour window), why should I

When calling any service, I look for 3 things: Response time, Quality of the Service, and Price. I can say without a doubt that Blue Ox nailed all three of these. Ed returned my call immediately, showed up when he said he would, did an outstanding job, and cost less than my other two bids. It is good to know there are still companies out there that value hard work, quality service, and affordable prices.

As a landlord, I've used Blue Ox a couple of times now. I have property in Lincoln but do not live there. It is so great to have a company that I can call and trust to get work done properly every time. Blue Ox answers their phone (rare these days), provides estimates within a day or so, communicates frequently via e-mail and text, even sending me photos so I don't have to travel to inspect the work. My tenants say that it looks like nothing ever happened because they clean-up so well after their work. Their prices are very competitive as well, so they are on my "go-to"

We live in California but own a rental property in Nebraska. It's a challenge to find local businesses we know we can count on to do good work in a fair and trustworthy fashion, but Blue Ox Tree Service has shown us it can be done! They trimmed a couple of trees on the property, cleared all the debris, left a nice pile of firewood and even helped out our neighbors--all in a very short time.
