Just like for most people, the job we end up in is not the job we expected to be in. That is how Chris got his start. Essentially, he got into the garage door business by going to a birthday party. While Chris was in grad school, he went to a friend's birthday party and overheard a guy (Nathan) talking about how he lost his only employee because he could not guarantee him full-time work.
