I cannot say enough great things about Bowen Remodeling and Design! They just finished converting my tub/shower into a walk in shower and it looks amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was customized for my convenience and safety as well as helped to pick beautiful fixtures. Joe and every member of his crew were polite, courteous, and friendly. They were beyond professional. They answered all my many questions and explained every step of the process. They took special care to make sure they didn't disturb any of our belongings and I am pretty sure they left things even cleaner than they were when they arrived! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who asks!

Bowen not only did a fabulous job with our master bathroom renovation but were a pleasure to work with! We wanted to update our 26-year-old master bathroom and the best course was to remove everything but the dry wall. With Bowen, design services are included in the price and they have an extensive showroom in Crofton with oodles of samples. It's a one stop shop, with varying price points.

The owner (Joe Bowen) came out for the first meeting and to measure. We weren't sure what we could do in the space. He did not rush us, gave us several options, and never tried to steer us to something we were not comfortable price wise or style wise. He also popped by several times to check the progress of the job.

Jordyn was our designer and I can't say enough about her! She truly listened to our likes, dislikes, and budget. She was not judgmental when you share ideas with her and gives very practical advice. For instance, we thought we wanted a pocket door to the WC. She said it could be done but here are the things we would giving up. After hearing her comments, we did not proceed with the pocket door. She was really interested in designing what we needed. She was very easy to work with and extremely responsive.

I appreciated that we were given a Projected Schedule with details of who was coming when and what was happening. Everyone was great and advising of any changes.

We were extremely fortunate to have Sean as our Project Manager, Dale was on the job most days and has a huge skill set, plus Billy helped with wallpaper removal and wall prep.

Sean made sure our project ran smoothly and was here most days working with Dale. I don't think there is anything that Dale can't do - he was fantastic! He asked for our input on placement of towel bars, grab bars, and other things. He never rushed us and helped us figure out the best option. He is extremely meticulous with his tile work and it's gorgeous. Bowen gave us the option to paint the bathroom ourselves, to save some money. Billy often paints for customers and was very detailed in removing our wallpaper and prepping the walls. He spoke several times with my husband, who would be painting the room, giving him lots of painting tips and suggestions.

Renovations can be challenging; however, ours was very smooth and we are thrilled with the design and quality of the work. I highly recommend this team!

We recently had a hall bathroom remodeled by Bowen. We had a great experience from beginning to end. The bathroom looks amazing and the project was kept on schedule, despite adverse weather. Charlie in particular was a pleasure to work with. He was always professional, timely and does absolutely incredible tile work. He even came in on a Saturday to keep the project on time when snow and ice prevented work on a weekday. I would highly recommend Bowen to anyone looking for a remodel.

We are nearing completion of our second bathroom remodeling project with Bowen's. We have been extremely pleased with the quality of the work performed. Although all of the Bowen staff have been a pleasure to work with, one in particular stands out , Charles Schultz. Charlie was assigned to both of the bathroom projects we contracted with Bowens to complete. My husband and I are rarely impressed with contractors and are usually disappointed with the quality of their work. However, we can not say enough positive things about Charlie's professionalism and and the quality of his work. He worked closely with us to ensure that projects met our expectations, answered all of our questions, showed up on time, and completed the job on time.

We recently completed a primary bathroom remodel with Bowen, and from the very first conversation through the final walkthrough, the experience was exceptional.

We first met Joe Bowen at the Maryland Home and Garden Show. Unlike many others we spoke with, Joe didnt try to sell us anything on the spot. Instead, he listened to our goals and offered to have Sarah Bowen visit our home. Sam is an experienced interior designer with a real passion for what she does, and that came through immediately. She offered thoughtful suggestions we hadnt considered and walked us through Bowens process and timelineeverything was clear and on schedule.

After the initial estimate, we visited their showroom to go over design ideas and material options with Sam. This step was incredibly helpful. She helped us visualize everything and pulled together samples in a way that made the entire process feel collaborative and low-pressure. At no point did we feel like we were being "sold to"this was a true design partnership.

Other companies we spoke with had limitationssome refused to alter layouts, didnt pull permits, or required us to find our own materials and tradespeople. Bowen was the complete opposite. They handled everything in-house: permits, labor, materials, designstart to finish. Their estimate was competitive with other contractors, and the value was far greater. We purchased the light fixtures ourselves (our choice because my wife has a background in lighting design), and Bowen handled everything else.

Now that the remodel is complete, we can confidently say the results exceeded our expectations. The bathroom is exactly what we had envisionedmodern, spa-like, and stunning. Bowens craftsmanship was top tier. Their team protected all nearby spaces, cleaned up daily (vacuuming and wiping down dusty areas), and yeswe were able to sleep in our bed every night during the renovation, just as promised.

Before work started, we received a daily schedule and the names of everyone whod be on-site. When they ran into unexpected issueslike discovering a dangerously cut floor joist under the old showerthey brought it to our attention and resolved it properly. Any minor issues that came up during the project were addressed promptly. Now, a month post-completion, we have zero items left on our punch list.

If you're planning a remodel, start with Bowen. We met with six different companies, and Bowen was by far the most honest, organized, and collaborative. Were already planning to use them againand next time, we wont waste time shopping around. Bowen will be our first and only call.

We were referred to Bowen by our friends and it was the best decision we could have made in our home renovation process. We just completed our primary bathroom re model with them. The process was amazing from start to finish. We were able to meet in the showroom to design the bathroom. We then were given a well detailed schedule for work which was followed. We had skilled title workers, painters and workers here daily to complete the task in hand. They were always on time, professional and left the house clean. I am enjoying a beautiful kitchen by Bowen Remodeling & Design. It is both lovely and highly functional. I really had few ideas about what I wanted. Samantha had many suggestions for design elements that are practical and make working in the kitchen easier and more fun. She also was honest about some design elements that might sound good, but in practice would not work for me. She asked questions and really listened to me to help me choose what would work best for me. She also addressed many design elements I never would have thought of; the details that make the whole project look better and work well together.

The quality of the cabinets & hardware is excellent. The countertops are beautiful and so easy to clean. The new backsplash is installed beautifully. The flooring is lovely and cleans beautifully. All elements look and feel of very high quality, and I expect they will last for many, many years.

The construction team was such a pleasure to have in my home, from demo to final finish. I was given a detailed schedule in advance, that they followed. If I had questions, the lead team of Sean & Jordyn were very responsive. Tje pros doing the work were polite and tidy. They did high quality work efficiently. I'm pretty picky, but they always addressed my concerns. I actually found the finish on a few doors to have small but unacceptable flaws. Bowen agreed & worked with the cabinet company to replace them. This was an easy experience, with Showplace Cabinetry backing their product.
Having your kitchen redone is a lot of decisions. Choosing Bowen was our first & best decision. Having workmen in your home for weeks can feel disruptive, but polite, and professional workmen make that easier. Having a solid lead team for those guys makes everything smoother. Starting out the project with a good designer who helps you figure out what works best for YOU is critical. I am truly enjoying my new kitchen by Bowen Remodeling & and Design. I'll probably never do another kitchen, but I'm considering a bathroom next. My first call, of course, will be to Bowen.

We are so pleased with the complete redo of our old very dated kitchen done by Bowen Remodeling.
From beginning to end the people at Bowen were friendly, professional and experienced. They listened to what we wanted and needed providing a design that met our vision and budget.
And they delivered. They completely demolished our old kitchen and expertly installed cabinets, island and floor. The new lighting is transformative as are the countertops. The installation went smoothly and quickly with minimal disruption. They were obsessive about small details.

Bowen Remodeling recently remodeled our bathroom. We had our initial design meeting in Oct 23. Sam did a great job of walking us through design options, different material, costs and the timeline. They have some mock bathrooms in the store which helped visualize how materials looked. The remodeling team began the demo/remodel in January 24, it took about 3 weeks. The remodeling team was professional, worked hard, timely, cleaned up, and answered any questions we had along the way. Dennis was outstanding, he listened to everything we said and made sure to resolve any concerns, and provided us updates of any minor issues or decisions along the way. Joe the owner also stopped by almost daily to check on the project and kept us in the loop on the schedule and how things were going. We would definitely use Bowen Remodeling again.

I cannot say enough about this company! My elderly mother needed to have the sliding door leading into her rec room replaced because the door completely shattered when it was hit by a car. We were able to put plywood up and called Bowen. We thought it might be a week or so before they could come out, but they were out the same day to measure and ordered a new door right away. Less than one week later, they were back to install the door. They did such a fantastic job. They went above and beyond, even using a wet/dry vac to clean up extra shards of glass that were still there from when the door shattered. They took the extra time and care to show my mom all the features of the door and make sure she was comfortable with everything. From start to finish, everyone went above and beyond to ensure that my mother had everything she needed, and was comfortable with the door and the insulation. I highly recommend this second generation, family owned, small business based out of Crofton!

Having used Bowen to remodel both our bathrooms in recent years, we again called on them, this time for an extensive project of repair, painting, and renovation of our entire house, interior and exterior. The project lasted two months, precisely as it was projected and scheduled. The work was flawless: totally professional and expertly performed. The workers were highly professional, courteous, friendly, and considerate of our comfort and needs during this extensive project. They did everything possible to minimize the disruption to our normal routine. Even the owner himself came one day
