Do you offer packing services separately from moving?
Yes, we provide professional packing services as a standalone option with the same hourly rates as our moving services.
How do you charge for moving services?
We charge hourly rates with minimum time requirements. Local moves have a three-hour minimum during peak season with travel time included in the charges.
Do you move pianos?
Yes, we move upright and grand pianos with specialized equipment. We require advance notice and pictures of the instrument for proper planning.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, credit cards, PayPal, and Zelle transfers. Credit card payments include a 5% processing fee.
Do you provide moving insurance?
We include standard insurance coverage at 60 cents per pound per item. Additional valuation coverage is available for high-value possessions.

Emanuel was a good estimator of cost, followed up with time/date, contracts and the "what to expect". Aaron, Jose and Foster showed up on time, worked non stop despite the heat and humidity, packed out quickly and professionally. The move in included 2 flights of steps-again, they worked quickly and efficiently, covered the carpeting, and nothing was damaged and no funky up charges at the end. They did a good job, would highly recommend them.

My most recent move with Mighty Men Movers was the worst moving experience I've ever had, and I've moved a dozen times in the last 15 years. I used the company in 2013 when moving from one apartment to another in DC and had a very smooth and efficient experience, so I booked them for another move last month. Similar to the last time, I had about about one bedroom's worth of stuff and packed my own boxes. We downsized from a house in Arlington to a condo in Reston right as covid was hitting in March 2020. Mighty Men packed all our fragile dishes, glassware and art glass collection. Not a thing broke! They did a great job wrapping our furniture and moving everything carefully. A dresser drawer did break and Emmanuel came, took it away and fixed it. He offered to reimburse us if we didn't like his fix, but we were quite satisfied. Movers were quick and respectful with our things. Planning on using them this summer for my son's move.

Highly Recommend Mighty Men Moving - Emmanuel was super responsive and helped get everything set up quickly and worked with our schedule to get everything knocked out in one day. We were moving out of state about 2.5 hours away and they by far provided the best value at the best price. The day of crew was one time, worked super hard to help us get everything accomplished, and were extremely friendly and helpful. They wrapped everything and took good care of our stuff, disassembled and reassembled furniture where needed, and even had some big items such as small piano and very old secretary desk

I rarely write reviews at all so it takes a lot to make me want to. I completed a very local move (5 minute drive away) and hired Mighty Men movers. I got an estimate and planned it over the phone with Emmanuel, the owner. Everything very professional and considering reviews expected the same on move day. Move day comes and one of the two gentlemen who arrive doesn't introduce himself at all, is moving quickly and takes no inventory of anything.
